Hello Premier Poms Families,
I am proud to announce the 1st Heart Adventure of the year! Please remember that Heart Adventures are optional. If it works in your schedule, great! If you are busy, no problem. (When we have a performance opportunity Heart Adventure, we hope most girls will try to be there if at all possible! The routines look best when all the girls are present!)
This Heart Adventure is a - volunteer, giving back to the community and showing our support - Heart Adventure. It is very moving and worthwhile. Many families have been touched by cancer in one way or another and that is why this Heart Adventure is so special. It gives us an opportunity to share our C2 caring side which is very important in our program.
I am sure you have all seen the many packets going around about the up coming "Relay For Life" here in Barrington which will take place on the track at BHS. As our first Heart Adventure we would like to have a team to show our support with our amazing Premier Poms girls.
We are not asking you to raise money. We will have a table set up while the uniform fittings are going on. We will have information regarding the sale of Lumineria bags instead. It is a wonderful event if you have not had the opportunity to participatein the past.
The event starts at 6 PM. If you are joining us, we ask that you meet us just outside the football field entrance on the right. If you would like to wear Purple or Premier clothing, that would be great! Bring a jacket in case it gets cool!
The senior and junior team girls may be dropped off and pick up time will be 10:30 PM.
We ask that the youth team member each have a chaperone.
There will be many events taking place. The survivor lap will kick it off and then there will be music and singing and a flash mob dance routine which I will be
learning tonight and will show the team. It is very simple and if you have never seen it done it is amazing!!!
The concept of Relay for Life is to have some members of the team walk the track all the time. Because Cancer never sleeps! We will have a place set up for our team to "hang out" and the evening will end with the lighting of the Lumineria bags. Another amazing and emotional event!
We are hoping you will be able to make it, the whole family or just your beautiful daughter. It is a community event and this year promises to be unbelievable!
