Here is the scoop you've been waiting for regarding the Columbus day Parade:
We are planning on taking the train downtown from Fox River Grove Train station. If you care to join us that is great! If you choose to hop on at the Barrington stop, just walk through the cars and sit with us!!! We will leave either the 9:11 and 10:11 train. We will send a follow up email regarding which time this weekend.
Once downtown, last year the girls went to the bathroom and grabbed a donut/bagel in the station before we headed out to the parade route.
We took cabs so please bring cab money!
The parade floats etc are at Balboa and Columbus Drive. We will find out float and hang out until the float starts to leave. The parade will start at 12:30 and end at 2:30. It will proceed down Columbus Drive between Balbo and Randolph.
After the parade, we would love for you to join us at Club Lago (corner of Superior and Orleans) for a Heart Adventure Italian meal together!
Guido and Gian Carlo Nardini, the owners of this fabulous joint, put together a meal which would include:
*pizza bread
*choice of:
Spaghetti and Meatballs
Chicken Parmesean
Fetticini Alfredo
Large House Salad
* 1 soft drink
*gratuity
All for $15.00/person

This is going to be an awesome Columbus Day Parade Heart Adventure! Last year, many followed us to Club Lago, so this year we thought we'd make it part of the experience for everyone!!!!!
